YPA (Yen Partnership Architects) was formerly known as Lin Yen-Ying Architects and was established in 2004. In 2014, architect Chen Yen-Ling (AIA) returned to Taiwan and joined the team, leading to the founding of YPA. With this transition, the firm expanded its expertise in architecture and interior design by incorporating a broader and more diverse international perspective.
YPA is committed to exploring both the tangible and intangible values that emerge during the creative process. We believe that the essence of architecture lies in capturing the trajectory of human and environmental interactions through compelling spatial design while expressing the unique cultural identity of a place with refined forms. Our goal is to create spaces that preserve and pass down local cultural heritage while simultaneously exploring the irreplaceable physical experiences that digital representation and the metaverse cannot replicate. By integrating both realms, we aim to pioneer a distinctive, sustainable architectural vision for the future.
With this philosophy in mind, YPA actively participates in public infrastructure projects while engaging in diverse architectural, commercial, interior, and industrial design endeavors. Our work seeks to harness the power of spatial design to push creative boundaries in an ever-changing world.
